My brother Chuckie (56 yrs young) needed a special birthday this year. My mother is the best. She invited a few of us to her house for dinner and cake. Chuckie cooked for us what a champ he is. He cooked German Weinerschnitzle. Yum... Anyway Mom(she is 84 years old boys and girls) baked the beautiful birthday cake. Please note that she even used the special birthday cake plate we always used for our special events when we were kids. It is applesauce cake with cream cheese frosting. Perry my younger brother picked the huckleberries from her front yard. Oh what a treat.
