On this beautiful Mothers Day I am honoring my mother....Maudine Rushton...I wish you all were lucky enough to know my mother...she is the shining star in our family...she is the best example of love that I have ever known....unconditional love...I know some people never get to experience that kind of love, but I am lucky enough to have....and so have the rest of her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren...It is the legacy she has given us.... To have an open heart, to forgive and love.....
I want to show you this old photo of our family, we are all just a bunch of knuckle head kids, but look at my mother and the way she has her hand on my sisters shoulder and is looking down at her children....not at the camera.....that is true love, a mothers love....she looks so much like another Mother.....coincidence?

If all children in the world had this kind of love that our mother has freely and unselfishly given to us, what a wonderful world this would indeed be. She is a Diamond, cut, polished, with many facets, she is always polished and shines. Bring on all of your jewels, dear people, they are not nearly as bright, shining, and glorious to look at as our mother. I love you Mom... Love from one of the luckiest daughters in the world....
