Grilled Asparagus with Pancetta...

Grilled Asparagus with Pancetta

This is a great tasting, easy vegetable..you just make little bundles and put them on the barbecue....Make as many as you have guests......Asparagus is great any time of the year...if you don't have pancetta, thick sliced bacon will work just the same....

snap the woody ends off of the asparagus and then take 4 or 5 of them and unroll the 'round' of prosciutto and twist the pancetta around the asparagus bundle....

like this and set aside and finish the rest....

they are ready for the fire!

really try not to set them on fire like I did...they really char fast....the asparagus is tender crisp and smoky and salty from the meat...

so, so Good!
