Chocolate Marshmallow Brownie's....

It's a grand ole flag....Happy Fourth of July everyone!  This beautiful picture was taken by my sister Mary...lovely isn't it?

This is such an easy recipe...it is almost embarrassing to put it on here...but there maybe one person who hasn't made these or heard of them...(it could happen)...I have made these for years for my kids...it was something I made ahead when we went camping...they kind of remind me of smores...they would be great to add chocolate chips to the batter and toasted walnuts on top....that would be the grown-up version...my kids never liked nuts....I made these like they like them...no funny stuff!

there is no recipe...you don't need one...just take any brownie mix or make homemade...bake according to directions....as soon as they come out of the oven...

pour a whole bag of mini marshmallows on top, yes the whole bag..spread them out...

and pop in the back in the oven...for about 5-7 minutes....

they will poof up slightly and all stick together....cool completely....

frost with a whole can of frosting....chocolate of course....

kinda looks like rocky road....

and here they are!

so good! chewy and chocolaty, the perfect picnic food....

This was my daughters after she had the first bite....hmmmmm....

Cheers to Happy  !!

  1. You are absolutely right! I had not heard of this before. I have a brownie mix in the cupboard. I will need to get the marshmallows and icing.
