Beverly Hills

Welcome to Beverly Hills !!!!
and Welcome to Rodeo Drive.....

On our recent trip to L.A. we drove to Beverly Hills and on to Rodeo Drive...pronounced Row-day-oh. I have never seen such opulence in my life..but I have imagined it and I was not disappointed...Our first step onto the street we saw these two young lady shoppers....

they look the part....look across the street......

Oh it is a Rolls Royce......we aren't in Kansas anymore.....

the street decorations looked like out of a movie set.....

they even put bows on the buildings....

if you have been to Disneyland....this place reminds you of that..kinda of all pretend...

this is where all the finest shops are...I don't even know all the names of the famous designers there....We went in one shoe store called 'Jimmy Choo'. I knew that name, it is the shoes that Oprah wears....we walked in and right back out....$900 was to steep for me.....

see the guy out front of that building? There is one in every store....they are security....but we all know they are bouncers to keep the tourists out....you should see their biceps.....

amazingly clean....everywhere.....

clean streets.....

We decided to stop for lunch...at a seemingly small place called Villa Blanca....we were just going to have coffee and then quickly decided to have lunch so we could stay longer....this place was amazing...important starlike people everywhere.....

I had wanted to take pictures and the 'cutest boy in the world 'said no, not here....so I said how about just of you? and he agreed so here is the picture and then I cleverly shot the next shots and I was putting away my camera.....I am so sly....

everything in the place was white and silver....very posh...

You know that Sesame Street song 'one of these things just doesn't belong here'?

check out these 2 guys real closely and tell me if you recognize them.....Everyone in the place stopped to talk to them...this was definitely the place to see and be seen.....

this was the shot over the shoulder as the camera was going back in the bag....

Lunch over, now time to leave this unbelievable place.......

Cheers to Happy  !!
