Fried Goat Cheese....


Don't you just love goat cheese? It is so creamy and tangy...and good for you. I remember not so far back, that I would not even consider tasting such a thing...goat cheese, goat milk, goat yogurt..YUK!...Funny how times have changed...I love it now!.... I love it on pizza and salad...this is a great recipe...it is so easy and really looks like you did something special..you can make one salad or 20...

here are your ingredients...beaten egg, bread crumbs and goat cheese log.......if you slice the cheese and go right through the plastic wrap with the knife it will stay together in a round...

heat a little olive oil on medium high....

slice your cheese rounds....

dip your cheese rounds in the egg and then roll in bread crumb...for the the bread crumbs you can use panko bread crumbs, seasoned bread crumbs...or ones you have made yourself...I have used a cornbread crumb here, but use what you have in your cupboard.

place in hot pan and cook about 1 minute on each side.....they will brown nicely...

drain and....

place on your salad....

they are crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside...

hmmm the perfect bite!
