Peach Blueberry Crisp...

Peaches in the Pacific Northwest are just now coming out....these are small sugar peaches from the Yakima Valley...I have added fresh blueberries, the combination is heavenly...
Peach Blueberry Crisp

Filling
6 cups of cut and slices peaches
1 cup of blueberries
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons f flour
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Topping
1 cup of flour
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of softened butter

You will need to peel and slice your peaches...add them to your 9 by 13 inch pan...

for the topping add 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of softened butter...cut with your pastry cutter or a fork until crumbly..set in the refrigerator until ready to use...

add the blueberries to the peaches....

sprinkle 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons on flour over the top of the fruit, and stir....

here is the secret ingredient...1 teaspoon of vanilla...it brings out all the flavor of the fruit...

completely cover with the crumb mixture... put in a 350 oven for 35-45 minutes...


this smells so good....Mmmm...
