Pasta with Ham and Cabbage.....

this is so good and rustic.....it is also low calorie and low fat....that's a bonus, I have already made something like this and put on here, but in my own defense I eat pasta ALOT....It is easy to make and so satisfying!!!!

Pasta with Ham and Cabbage

1 cup of finely broken up artisan bread
extra virgin olive oil
1/2 medium head of cabbage
1 lb of minced ham
2 cloves of finely sliced garlic
1/4 cup of sun dried tomatoes
1/2 cup of finely grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper
spaghetti noodles
1/2 cup of white wine
2 tablespoons of fresh parsley

Bring a large pot of water to a boil...and pasta and cook until desired doneness...

add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a large skillet and toast bread....add salt and pepper...cook over medium heat until browned...transfer to a bowl...

then cook ham in pan with 1 tablespoon of oil until very browned...
transfer to a separate plate...

add garlic to 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook 1-2 minutes then add cabbage and 1/2 cup of white wine....
saute until cabbage is wilted...3 minutes....

add back in the ham and add the sun dried tomatoes...
stir over heat until everything is very hot...then add 1/4 cup of the cheese...
and put on plate with added cheese on top and garnish with bread crumbs and fresh parsley...

Enjoy!!!!!

Cheers to Happy  !!
