Beer Bread...

Hello Everyone, today we have our return of Trucker Joe, who is taking a few weeks off of work...he has been busy in Joes Kitchen, (he named his kitchen this week) making breads......he is a great cook and has a passion for great bread! Today he is cooking beer bread with only 3 ingredients and tomorrow a no knead Ciabatta Bread...I am so looking forward to that! I love Ciabatta.....

Take it away Joe-Joe!!!!

You need 3 cups self-rising flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 12 ounces beer (good beer), (yep, just 3 ingredient's)
2 tablespoons melted butter to give your bread a shiny look.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and ........

put the dough into a greased loaf pan. Bake for about 55 minutes at 375 degree (according to the food network). But the internal temp should be 210..... During the last few minutes of baking paint the loaf with the melted butter and viola!

this is a great Bread!!! Great for throwing together to go with soups and stews and pasta. It would be great adding a few herbs, and brushing with herb butter, but so good, plain toasted in the morning!

Cheers to Happy  !!
