Kansas City BBQ Rib Rub....

This is a great recipe for those end of summer picnics, that are going on right now......A good recipe for rub's is hard to come by, great cooks guard there recipes, seriously, no one will share..... This is a great one, guaranteed.......you can label it and make it your own, give it out as gifts, and you can tell everyone "nope the recipe is a secret", I won't tell....

Kansas City Rub
•1/2 cup brown sugar
•1/4 cup paprika
•1 tablespoon black pepper
•1 tablespoon salt
•1 tablespoon chili powder
•1 tablespoon garlic powder
•1 tablespoon onion powder
•1 teaspoon cumin

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients together and transfer to an air tight container. Maybe stored up to six months.
gather all the ingredients together....

measure into a bowl and thoroughly mix together....take out what you need and store the rest for the next time!!!!

sprinkle liberally over your meat...I made baby back ribs and used about 1/2 cup.....

put in a bag and in the fridge for about 4 hours or overnight......

BBQ.....I put the ribs onto one side of the BBQ with the heat off, and turn the heat on high on the other side, on my gas grill, I also put a piece of mesquite wood on the hot grill side to char a little and add a bit of smokey flavor....close the lid and the BBQer makes an oven...after about 2 hours,( watch closely the meat will shrink away from the bone)....when this happens they are done.....you can brush with your favorite BBQ sauce at this point if you like.....

Enjoy!!!!

Cheers to Happy  !!
